A quick move-in home, also known as a spec home or inventory home, is a home that is complete or near complete usually offering a much faster move-in date than traditional new build construction homes which haven’t started construction yet. What is an Under Construction Home VS. a QMI Home?
An under-construction home is a home that has started construction but is in the early stages of building which can result in a shorter wait time than a new build but can still result in a move in time of 8 months or more depending on the construction stage of the home. Though under construction homes will likely come with structural options and features chosen, depending on the phase of construction, you may have some opportunities to make design choices to your under-construction home.
